Next stop Plzen
Waiting for the train to leave on the Prague station...
Plzen, the home of the world famous Pilsener.Unfortunately our stay in Plzen was not a pleasant one, the weather was terrible, icy cold and rain.
The town of Plzen was not very attractive compared to European standards and was one I would consider giving a miss if you are planning a trip to Czech Republic.
Our hostel was fowl, it smelt like mould was filthy and had a group of 8 large builder staying there. At night we had to lock our door as they tried to get in every night, very scary.
Due to the terrible weather the only thing we could really do to keep warm and dry was to hang out in pubs, drink and eat.
