Innsbruck was our first stop on are romantic Alpine Adventure and we were not only lucky to have the beautiful colours of Herbst but a few days of cold weather meant all the mountain tops were covered in snow.

Then on to the beautiful little colourful town of Füssen were we spent a night at the Zum Hechten Schloss Gasthof.

Neuschwanstein...the perfect time of year for at trip to the castle with the beautiful colours of Autumn.
We took a carriage ride to the top of the hill with a very flatulent horse.

Unfortunately the outer walls of the castle were in the middle of construction and covered in scaffolding which does not make for the best photo. Neuschwanstein castle was never finished being built after the death of the Crazy King Ludwig II drowned under suspicious circumstances....he only spent 3 months at his new castle before his death.
