BARCELONA

25/7/08
An old church in the hills near the most popular pilgrimage destinations in Spain: the Shrine of Our Lady of Montserrat, a famous Monastery on the way to Barcelona.
The very beautiful and dramatic landscape .
Barcelona.......38-40degrees.....
We spent 1 day on the beach
in front of our camping ground and 1 day exploring the city of Barcelona.
Sleepyhead in the Auto inferno
Our camp ground on a lovely beach.....perfect for a relaxing day of cooling off.

BILBAO & ZARAGOZA

24/7/07
Bilbao, the home of the Spanish Guggenheim Museum. Tom and I spent a few hours here looking around the exibitions in the Museum, but my favourite was definatly the giant flower dog at the entrance.

Giant flower dog.
Next we drove on to the very unatractive town of Zaragoza were we had dinner and tried to find a camp site, with no luck. We ended up sleeping in the car park of a fuel stop....definatly not the best nights sleep.
