Cesky Krumlov, after arriving at the train station late in the evening we took a taxi ride through the tinny cobbled streets to our hostel.
Wow what a beautiful small town! I would highly recommend catching a taxi through the town center as a great introduction to this beautiful city.
After our nightmare accommodation in Plezn we were so happy too be staying in the lovely Hostel Postel.
Such friendly service, clean rooms/facilities a lovely Court yard and great kitchen.
In 1992 the castle was included onto the list of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Monuments.
At the entrance of the castle there is a bridge and at the bottom of the bridge is the home of some large bears although they were keeping warm and out of sight when we visited.
The tour of the castle was interesting although it was so late in the day meaning it was very dark inside and the minimal light sources used meant it was very difficult to view the artworks and interiors. I would recommend in visiting the castle earlier in the day.
