Double rainbow after the storm.
11/7/08Today we visited 4 Lakes in Austria, the Traunsee, Attersee, Mondsee and the Wolfgangsee.

A long 65km....bike ride around Chiemsee Lake, with a nice 2hr lunch break.
Back at Toms house in the later after noon we took another ride to pick some sour cherries to eat, they grow every were here, you just have to be carefull as allot of the cherry trees have been affected by worms. Toms mum was at the trees balancing on a big ladder picking cherries to make Jam and a Cherri crumble...mmmm. I got to ride Toms mums bike it's old school with a big seat, peddle breaks and basket.........sooooo cool and so comfortable.

Tom was very excited today as his new Toy arrived in the mail, a Mideon Navigator for the car to help with traveling.
After the excitement wore off from the new toy we headed into Laufen and Oberndorf in Austria for a bit of lunch and a bike ride. Oberndorf is the home of the 'Silent Night' carol.
Today was Rosa, Tom's mums Birthday, some of the children and grandchildren came around for home made cakes, coffee and dinner.

The Birthday Girl Impressed all with a head stand. Apparently the last one she did was when she had 4 children now she has 7!

First stop was Burghausen were we visited the Longest castle of Europe(1043m)
Then we visited Passau were the 3 rivers meet. Danube, The Inn and The Ilz.
