BIARITZ

20/7/08 - 21/7/08
Today we drove on to the wealthy seaside town of Biaritz.

Were we stayed in a camping ground a short bike ride out of town, that was filled with teenagers on there summer holidays, who come to Biaritz for some surfing and fun in the sun.
The weather is now in the 40 degress and getting a little too hot for sleeping in the back of the car.
Tom was happy to get a chance to surf again after seeing his last waves in Australia.

On or first night in town we had dinner at the very busy but cheerful La Casa Juan Pedro a little restaurant with tables by the sea overlooking the Port des Pecheurs.
You can choose from a simple, short, good -value menu of grilled sardines, prawns, sea bream, hake, mussels and duck confit. Very relaxing with a carafe of Rose.
In the water bellow were giant fish the waiters would throw the left over bread too.

Tom looking very serious.......Stones on top of the sea walls.Biaritz at night.
