TOMS BIG MOUNTAIN RACE ON GROßGLOCKNER

Today I traveled with Tom and 2 members of Toms running team a father Otto and his son Armin and the mother to a mountain in Austria called Großglockner for a mountain running race.
The run was 13km and an altitude of 1500 meters finishing at 2600meters.
The weather had been cold the day before so the tops of the mountains were covered in snow.
While we were waiting for the men to run up the mountain, we walked down to a giant glacier. The winner of the race was from Kenya and he flew up the side of the mountain with his long long legs, only treading on ever second step. Tom had a great race coming 82nd from 1000 starters from the best mountain runners from all over the world. He also set a new record for his running club on Großglockner. Go Tom! Otto was amazing, he is 69 years old and finished 454th from 1000 starters, most half his age.
Good Work Boys!
