To get to Lake Garda we had to drive through south Tyrol which has some of the most beautiful scenery I have seen. The road is surrounded by large rocky mountains, which have waterfalls, castles, vineyards and fruit orchards perched on the sides. Wow.
On the way to Garda we stopped of for a walk around a beautiful little town were many of the old stone walls were covered in Wisteria the air smelt like heaven....mmm

Villa Emma in Torbole....not quite a 5 star hotel but at least the Spaghetti Emma sounded quite good.
Relaxing in the park near our camp ground in Torbole. Lago Di Garda is huge playground popular with the fitness crazy, the towns are filled with Bike Riders, Climbers and Wind Surfers.

I think Tom was the only one to go into the icy cold water. I feet were numb after 2 minutes.
In the late evening we took a walk to the top of a small mountain to get a better view. While we were drinking a bottle of wine at the top Franzisca and Martin announced there engagement, every on was so excited and surprise. Crazy 4 couples engaged in the space of a month.
After a big night of partying and too many drinks, Tom and I road our bikes along the river in to the town of Arco.
We very slowly made our way up to the fortress on the top of the hill, poor Tom was suffering badly from the night before.

Today we took a group trip to Malcesine
Then we caught a ferry to the other side of the lake to a town called Limone.

Limone is famouse for it's stone lemon orchads built into the cliffs, so cool.
